Hydrology & flood studies
Peak discharge estimation for multiple return periods using various hydrological methods, plus flood level simulation in HEC-RAS.
I'm Manish Pandey, a civil engineering graduate from Kathmandu University. I've worked on a 100 MW hydropower site and a 42 MW feasibility study, and I'm building my career in hydropower design, hydrology and site engineering.
Reservoir, gravity dam, penstock and powerhouse, simplified.
I'm a civil engineering professional skilled in AutoCAD and hydropower infrastructure, with hands-on experience in hydraulic modelling and structural site documentation.
At Kathmandu University I trained in AutoCAD, Excel and project management, ran seismic analysis on a shake table and completed topographic, road and bridge surveys at the Mars Nepal Survey Camp. I then spent six weeks on the 100 MW Super Trishuli Hydropower Project, observing RCC, foundation, grouting and quality control works. Outside engineering, I enjoy travelling and playing guitar.
